How to Play Reversi
Overview
Reversi is a board game where you capture your opponent's discs by bracketing them. When the match ends, the player with more discs wins.
Core Rules
- You play Black, the CPU plays White. Black moves first.
- You can place a disc only on squares that flip at least one opponent disc.
- Bracketing works horizontally, vertically, and diagonally.
- All bracketed opponent discs are flipped immediately.
- If a side has no legal move, it passes automatically.
- The game ends when neither side can move.
Controls
- Click any highlighted square on the board to place your disc.
- Use "CPU Difficulty" to choose Level 1 to Level 16.
- Press "New Game" to restart at the current level.
Difficulty
Higher levels use stronger evaluation and deeper search. Level 16 is the strongest CPU in this build.
